There feel the journey, begins with the maestro after his triumph. It is essential for him to be a solution for the kids those who suffer. This first performance of the legend with the glory of Oscar is for giving a hand to kids those who suffer of HIV+ve. There, again the legend repeats his inevitable loves and become the musical remedy by the sincere efforts made by Keraleeyam.

Our Aim
Global Kerala Initiative- Keraleeyam which has developed into a major Non Governmental Organization in India with the active participation of the Non Resident Indians is on the route to focus its activities to rehabilitate the orphaned HIV +ive children. We aspire to achieve this through various means including Mega Shows and festivals all over the globe.

It has been two years since Mr. V.K. Madhavan Kutty, left us. He was the moving spirit behind Global Kerala Initiative-Keraleeyam which in a short span of time has recorded impressive growth as a charity organization in India. He founded it, established it and handed over it to us before he left us. It is our solemn duty to observe his second death anniversary in a befitting manner by providing something to the society as he always did so by being the founder President of Keraleeyam. The messages of Keraleeyam now reach the entire NRI community all over the world and we are very happy to tell you that our efforts are also being supported by these generous minds.
Mr. Kutty was not just a journalist. He played an active role in shaping up various organisations which later became the essential edifices of the Kerala society. With the assistance and co-operation of Mr. Madhavan Kutty’s family, Keraleeyam has instituted two media awards in his name, one for the visual media and the other in the print. This year’s awards will be distributed at a commemorative function which is scheduled on November 1st in Kochi on 1st Nov. Each award consists of Rs. 30,001, a memento and a certificate
Prior to the commemorative function we are conducting a media seminar which will be attended by eminent media persons

As a part of the attempts to spread the thoughts on charity and to create awareness on the need for rehabilitating the HIV positive children Keraleeyam is conducting regular promotional programmes all over the world. In connection with this Keraleeyam plans to observe the world AIDS day on Dec, 1st 2008 with the support of the like minded people.
This year’s programme will mark a mass rally culminating in a function at Trivandrum on that day. School children, teachers, healthcare personnel, members of the Armed forces, NCC, scouts, political leaders, celebrities from the tinsel world etc have confirmed their participation for this noble cause
